The hardinge 5C collet is manufactured to exacting standards from special alloy steel. Threads are heat treated and the body is spring tempered to assure accuracy and durability at low cost. Hardinge 5C collets offer a through-capacity up to and including 7/8" hexagon. The 5C collet includes precision internal threads for the hardinge threaded positive stops.
